About this trek

The Baglan Range Trek is one of the most rewarding fort-range treks in Maharashtra, located in the Baglan region of Nashik district near the Maharashtra–Gujarat border. It covers 5 historic forts in the Selbari–Dolbari range: Salher, Salota, Mulher, Mora, and Hargad. 🏔️ Salher Fort – Highest fort in Maharashtra (5,175 ft) and site of the historic Battle of Salher. 🏰 Salota Fort – Twin fort of Salher with dramatic rock-cut steps and stunning views. 🏯 Mulher Fort – Former capital of the Baglan region with temples, caves, and ruins. 🌄 Mora Fort – Small but scenic fort connected to Mulher. 🧗 Hargad Fort – Features steep sections and a massive cannon at the summit.
