Manimahesh Kailash is one of the five Kailash, the abode of Lord Shiva. Manimahesh Kailash is located in the Bharmour sub-division of Chamba district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Here on Manimahesh Kailash in the morning at the time of sunrise, when the sun rays fall on the peak of Kailash A gem is visible. That's why it is called Manimahesh KailashDue to being in Chamba district, this Kailash is also called Chamba Kailash. A grand fair is also organized here every year on the day of Raksha Bandhan. The height of Manimahesh Kailash is 5,653 meters above sea level and the height of Manimahesh Lake is 4,080 meters. Manimahesh Lake is a lake of sweet and pure water in the high Himalayas.
